Nether Longcot farmstead is depicted as roofed on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Elginshire 1873, sheet vi), and described in the Object Name Book of the Ordnance Survey as 'a farmhouse and out offices one storey high, thatched and in good repair. Property of R C M Ferguson, Novar (Name Book 1872).

The farmstead had been renamed 'Cullerne' by the date of the 2nd Edition OS 6-inch map (1905), and is shown as roofed on the current OS digital maps. The farmstead is outside the perimeter fence of RAF Kinloss.
