Summary Record (29 February 2012)

Single storey range with small single spire fleche, dated 1886 is the earlier academy by William Bell. Now used as part of the primary school. The 'modern' block by local authority architect, Ian Moodie (1958) topped with square clock tower. Modern block demolished to make way for a new school building (2008).
