Archaeology Notes

NN31SE 4 3626 1472.

NM 3626 1472 A quantity of iron slag and charcoal is exposed in the side of a knoll which has been cut by a track. The slag extends for some 3.0m and appears to be overlaid by a rectangular shieling which measures 5.0 x 4.0m.

Surveyed at 1:10 000.
