Skye-type thatched cottage. Single storey; 3-bay east front with central door. Single window on west and on short south wall. Rubble-built slightly battered walls with curved angles. End stacks possibly added 1872 (dated stone on north stack); muran thatch roof, secured with netting, ropes and stone weights. Shown on 1st ed. O.S. (1878). Stacks may not be original; dated stone could be re-used. Conceivably, the house was built in 1872.
