Field Visit (1 September 2001 - 17 April 2002)
There are at least four rock shelters, three huts, two pens and two small enclosures among a boulder field about 230m SSW of a lochan and 100m NW of the shoreline. The rock shelters (356, 905, 908, 910) each consist of a short stretch of drystone wall against and between overhanging boulders; the largest measures 4.9m by 1.7m internally. Midden material including whelk and limpet shell survives in two examples (356, 910).
The three huts (906, 907, 909) are subrectangular and measure up to 2.7m by 1.9m within a wall up to 1m in thickness and 0.4m in height, while the two pens (911, 912) are slightly smaller. Of the two enclosures, the largest measures about 10m by 9m.
