Archaeology Notes

NS43NW 385 4273 3808

This early 19th century corner building (shop) has is flanked by two-storey housing in Dunlop Street. The buildings were photograhed by RCAHMS as the buildings are in a poor state of repair and are unusual early 19th century survivals in the area. The two-storey dwelling shows signs of much re-modelling in brick (the rendering has deteriorated) and also earlier ashlar elements.

Information from RCAJMS (MMD) 8 August 2008.
