(NN 086 766) Annat Mill (Corn) (NAT)

OS 6" map, Argyllshire, 2nd ed., (1904)

A short distance westward of Kilmallie Church, down to the left near the shore of Loch Eil, is the old water-wheel mill where the grain from the surrounding district was ground.

D B MacCulloch 1938.

The wheel-house of the old mill is still intact, complete with machinery, but it has not been used since the early years of the century. The mill-pond is dry, the water having been diverted during the late war

(Information from Mrs F A Sutton, Mill house).

Visited by OS (C F W), 17 July 1961.

No change.

Visited by OS (N K B), 11 May 1970.
