Archaeology Notes

NM93NE 2 9715 3535.

(NM 9715 3535) Tobar Baodan (NR)

(Well) (NAT)

A spring, situated on the right bank of the stream Eas Mhaodain, about 50 metres NE of the church (NM93NE 1). The mouth of the spring is enclosed by dry-stone masonry and is lintelled over to form a culvert from which the water discharges into a slab built trough. This arrangement, however, is probably of fairly recent date.

RCAHMS 1975.

As described.

Visited by OS (RD) 30 April 1970.

Surveyed at 1:10,000.
