Accessing Scotland's Past Project

Built in the early nineteenth century, Nos 1-5 Roxburgh Street is a three-storeyed building. As with many other similar blocks, its ground floor is occupied by shop premises which are probably a later insertion. Both shops have a pilastered frontage with adjacent doorways at the centre of the building. Above, the upper floors have been rendered and lined out as ashlar.
