Accessing Scotland's Past Project

No 5 Winchester Row is part of a row of three terraced houses, each standing two storeys high. The terrace probably dates from the mid-nineteenth century, and each house follows the same design, being constructed of squared rubble with ashlar dressings (dressed masonry used around the windows and doors). A number of later alterations are evident, such as the single dormer window added to this house.
