Activities

Standing Building Recording (29 January 2013)

AOC Archaeology Group was commissioned by Messrs Bridgewater & Sons to undertake a Level 2/Basic historic building recording survey on the site of the former Edrom Mains farm buildings near Duns in the Scottish Borders, prior to part demolition and development as a condition of the planning consent. Edrom Mains was established in the early to mid-19th century and prior to the 1860s had at least two-three main phases of build. Between the 1860s and 10900 a further two wings were added to the south as animal pens.
