Accessing Scotland's Past Project

Nos 18-19 is a three-storeyed tenement block, situated on the west side of The Square, probably built in the early nineteenth century. As with the adjoining tenements, the ground floor has been converted to shop premises, probably in the mid-nineteenth century. The fanlights above the shop door and the entrance to the stairway are original. The upper floors are fairly plain in painted ashlar.
