(NM 8250 2207) Standing Stone (NR)

OS 6"map, Argyllshire, 1st ed., (1875)

The standing stone which formerly stood on the east bank of the River Euchar, some 330 metres north of Kilninver, has been destroyed. It is recorded that it measured 1.2 metres in height (ONB 1871).

Name Book 1871; RCAHMS 1975, visited May 1970.

Field Visit (May 1970)

NM 825 220. The standing stone marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (sheet cx, 1875) on the E bank of the River Euchar, some 330 metres north of Kilninver, has since been destroyed. It is recorded that it measured 1.2 metres in height (Name Book, No.53, p.35).
