(NM 8397 2988) Barbed & Tanged Arrowhead found 1969 (NAT)

OS 1:10,000 map, (1976)

A barbed and tanged flint arrowhead was found at NM 8397 2988 in 1969 by Mrs M Kay of Strenoshaln, Pulpit Hill, Oban and retained by her.

M Kay 1969; Information from J N G Ritchie (RCAHMS) to OS 7 December 1970 and from RCAHMS 6"map, (Kerrera file).

Mrs Kay (Streonshaln, Pulpit Hill, Oban) confirmed the find spot and retains the arrowhead.

Visited by OS (J P) 13 September 1971.
