Publication Account (1997)

One historic standing building on Millrow is Allanside, the large two-storey harled and greywashed house below the bridge. Constructed in the late eighteenth century, it was partly removed during the widening of Millrow. It has had many uses by the Secession and Episcopalian churches and the cathedral congregation, before it was converted into a hotel and finally a private residence.

Information from ‘Historic Dunblane: The Archaeological Implications of Development’ (1997).
