Archaeology Notes

NM61SE 4 c. 65 11

A cell or chapel, founded c.545 by St Brendan, was located on A' Chuli, also called Cuil-i-Breannan, (Culbrandan (W D Simpson 1935)), but of it no trace remains.

No trace of a cell or chapel was found on A' Chuli. The two buildings shown on OS 6" at NM 6579 1132 are bothy type structures of no great age.
