Tobar Choluim Chille: This name ('St Columba's Well') applies to a small fresh-water spring situated immediately to the E of the old track from Lochbuie to Carsaig. The well, which is still in occasional use, may be the one at Loch Buie whose medicinal properties are mentioned in a late 17th-century topographical account of the area.
