The location assigned to this record is essentially tentative. Ru Staffnage is not noted as such on the 1997 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map, but may be tentatively equated with Ru Stafnish.

The present farmstead of Feochaig (NR71SE 17) lies inland, around NR 76374 1337.
