Archaeology Notes

For Ulva manse (NM 4366 3973), see NM43NW 23.

The parliamentary church serving the quoad sacra parish of Ulva was completed, with its adjacent manse, in 1828. It conforms closely to Telford's published plan for a T-plan church, the principal variations having been introduced about 1950 when the greater part of the building was converted into a community hall and only the NW portion of the main block was retained for ecclesiastical use.
