This shieling-hut is situated on a narrow terrace in the SW angle between the Reacleuch Burn and Frandy Burn. It is subrectangular on plan, measuring 4m from WSW to ENE by 2.1m transversely within turf footings spread to 1m in thickness and 0.2m in height.
