Field Visit (May 1983)

Harris 6 NM 344 952 NM39NW

To the SW of a recent field-wall which runs NNW-SSE from the Abhainn Rangail there are eight huts, an enclosure built against a crag, and several mounds of stones. Some of the huts appear to have been built of stones robbed from the field-wall.

RCAHMS 1983, visited May 1983

Field Visit (13 October 2010)

In a shallow gully formed between a storm beach (to the W) and craggy outcrops (to the E) there are at least eight huts and a small enclosure. Some of the huts are built from rounded pebbles, others appear to be of turf-and-stone, and at least one has walls constructed of angular blocks of stone. At least one hut stands on a mound that may represent the remains of an earlier structure.

Visited by RCAHMS (SDB, ARG) 13 October 2010.
