Collection item SMO/M/3/1 has been tentatively linked with this church. The Third SA (Fife) (P565) states 'the present church of the Innerleven congregation .... completed in 1942', so it is the only church in Methil that could be termed 'New Church' in the early 1940s. (AC 22 July 2002).
