A kennel building lies to the south-west of the Spottiswoode stables. Built in 1798, the kennels housed the estate's hunting and gun dogs.
The kennel consists of a rectangular building three bays wide, with an impressive pedimented frontispiece, the pediment bearing a sculpted panel of the Spottiswoode armorial crest, an eagle. At the rear, there was an open dog compound, surrounded by iron railings.
