NT67NE 328

NT 6646 7854 An archive appraisal and archaeological evaluation were conducted at 1A Duke Street on 30 October

2007. The work was commissioned in fulfilment of a condition to planning consent for a new house, and was required because of the position of the site in the core of medieval Belhaven. One evaluation trench was excavated, amounting to 10% of the proposed development area. No archaeological features or finds were revealed.

Archive to be deposited with RCAHMS. Report to be deposited with East Lothian Council SMR and RCAHMS.
