Brucefield Church of Scotland, 1966, Rowand Anderson Kininmonth & Paul

Fine ground-hugging kirk in the late 20th-century Scots tradition on the corner of Brucefield Road, enclosing a courtyard with the existing belfried kirk: strong geometric roughcast walls support its bellying roof. Swedish-influenced interior.

Taken from "West Lothian: An Illustrated Architectural Guide", by Stuart Eydmann, Richard Jaques and Charles McKean, 2008. Published by the Rutland Press http://www.rias.org.uk
