Two rustic arches of differing spans unified by a crenellated parapet. Restored by Ted Ruddock for West Lothian Council, 1998. Aqueduct, 1820, by Hugh Baird, cast-iron trough cantilevered from stone abutments feeding the Union Canal. Camps Viaduct carried a branch of the North British Railway serving Pumpherston Oil Company on nine segmented brick arches. Mandela Bridge, Shielsmill, 1971, by Morris & Steedman with Tom Ridley, is a most elegant suspension footbridge composed of slender cables supported on a single pylon from which hangs a lightweight footbridg
