NLO: Skye [name centred NG 45 35].

The CHRISTIAN, Fotheringham, from Riga to Wyre Water, struck on a rock on the west side of the Isle of Sky [Skye], 2d instant, and soon afterwards foundered. Crew saved with difficulty in the boat and arrived at Ardmore.

(Classified as sloop: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as 2 November 1819). Christian: this vessel struck rocks on the West side of Skye, and foundered. Capt. Fotheringham.
