Activities

Photographic Survey (1986)

Recording of gravestones in Temple Churchyard by Mrs Betty Willsher in 1986.

Photographic Survey (June 2021 - August 2021)

NT 31516 58744 Between June and August 2021, Archaeology Scotland, working with Temple Old Kirk Friends, carried out a Total Station and photographic survey at Temple Churchyard as part of Archaeology Scotland’s Adopt-a-Monument project. The position of each visible gravestone was surveyed in order to create an up-to-date location plan of the churchyard. Each headstone was photographed and key attributes recorded to provide information for the creation of a memorial typology database.
