Activities

Watching Brief (11 September 2020 - 15 September 2020)

NT 256 647 Topsoil stripping was monitored in advance of the construction of two dwelling houses with detached garages and associated works at Seafield House. The work took place on 11–15 September 2020.

During works three linear features and a possible pit were revealed. These are likely to relate to 19th-century field boundaries on the site, as identifiable on the 1855 OS map. No further significant archaeological finds or features were uncovered.
