Kirkgunzeon Station is no longer used as such with the closure of the railway line between Dumfries to Castle Douglas in Dr Beeching's railway cuts. It has been converted into residential accommodation and is part of a caravan park. Information from RCAHMS (LKFJ), April 2002.
