NM 2851 2393 A desk-based assessment and trial trench evaluation were undertaken at a site proposed for a new fire station. The site is close to several known medieval sites, including the Street of the Dead (NMRS NM22SE 16) and An Eala, a burial mound (NMRS NM22SE 32). No archaeological remains of any significance were found. (GUARD 1028).
