Local planners advise the former auction mart, currently in use as a joiner's workshop, may become vulnerable to development pressure. The area it is currently located within has been suggested as a site for new build housing. It is uncertain how the former mart would be incorporated within any such proposal in the future. The structure is thought to currently be wind and water tight, but the external timber does not appear to be re-painted in some time. Alert at this time.
