Station (disused) [NAT]

This intermediate station on the Edinburgh-Newcastle portion of the (Edinburgh-London, King's Cross) East Coast Main Line was opened by the North British Rly in about 1849. It closed to regular passenger traffic on 4 May 1964; the line remains in use, and has been electrified.

The station is situated immediately E of East Fortune Hospital (NT57NE 106.00) and on the NE perimeter of the airfield NT57NE 72.00.
