Activities

Photographic Survey (June 1965 - July 1965)

Photographic survey of Trinity Church, Irvine, by the Scottish National Buildings Record/Ministry of Works in 1965.

Watching Brief (14 February 2012)

NS 320 388 A watching brief was undertaken on 14 February 2012 during conservation and enhancement works to Trinity Church and Hall. The removal of the upper chipboard and wooden floorboards in the hall revealed a solum consisting of wooden beams supported on two dwarf walls. A small area of possible cobbling was visible in the general debris towards the E/SE corner of the solum floor. The discovery of asbestos in the church meant works in this area were not monitored.
