Archaeology Notes

HY31SE 24 c. 35 14.

A rudely formed axe formed from a grey sandstone pebble, 2 7/8"long by 1 1/2" across the cutting face, from Firth, Orkney, was purchased by the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS), in 1908.
