Photographic Survey (11 August 2020)

Headland Archaeology was commissioned to undertake a photographic survey of the extant school building and carry out a trial trench evaluation in

connection to a proposed redevelopment of the Cumbernauld Primary School site, Glasgow Road, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. The photographic survey recorded the external elevations of the existing late 19th-century single storey school building and the excavation of 12 trial trenches revealed no surviving features or artefacts of archaeological signifcance.
