The White Cow of Crichie was a huge block of quartz used as a boundary marker, since destroyed.

Name Book 1870

This stone, now lying on edge at the avenue at Crichie is probably only a fragment of the original White Cow, measuring 5'6" by 3'4" by 2'7".
