NJ93NE 24 99 37

A flat bronze axe was found embedded 1ft below the soil when digging after 3 to 4ft of peat had been removed at Muirtack (Moss of Muirtack: name NJ 998 376). It was in the possession of a Mr Yeats, Auquharney in 1876; now lost.
