NJ92NE 10 c. 97 28.

An Late Bronze Age socketed axe found at Craigieford (NJ 97 28) is in the Aberdeen Regional Museum (Accession no. 52.10.3).

Visited by OS (RL) 25 August 1970.

(Socketed axe: Keithfield variant of Dowris type). Single find. Socketed axe, smooth but slightly porous, brown-green, untrimmed, hammered blade; length 77mm, mouth 25x28mm, cutting edge 55mm, weight 160 gms.
