The two storey villa is situated about 188m E from the junction of Miller Road and Alloway Place on the N side of the street.
Built in the late 19th century and later altered it also has a single storey wing added to the W. The window mullions are of an unusual design.
The building first appears on the Ordnance Survey maps in 1897 (Ayrshire, 1897, sheet ), but is not annotated.
It is now in use as the Kyle and Carrick Distirct Office.
