Shieldaig Lodge Hotel was photographed in February 2024 as part of an area survey. Shieldaig Lodge was designed by Andrew Maitland & Son 1891 as a shooting lodge. It was probably built for Gairloch Estate who certainly owned it in the 1970’s. In the 1970’s Whytock & Reid, Edinburgh undertook alterations for the Sheildaig Hotel Company who leased the building see DP 192185.
