Summary Record (22 October 2010)

House of two linked parts and periods of construction. The two storey main house of c.1800 and the earlier single storey west wing of c.1700. The porch is of interest as its two doors allow for protection whichever way the wind is blowing. The interior has a number of attractive surviving cornices and fireplaces and C19 fittings to the service areas. In the early C20 a door into the garden was added through from what had been the dining room buffet recess.

Information from RCAHMS (CAJS) 2010.
