(Greenock 2: location cited as NS 268 777). On the Esplanade, the predecessor of Greenock 1 [NS27NE 154]: prob. c. 1818. Cast-iron fluted Corinthian column on square cast-iron base. Lantern originally hexagonal, with swivelling ventilator, now electric in rectangular box.
