A Capital Sheep Farm known as Upper Beoch. About half-a-mile north of the main road from DALMELLINGTON to NEW CUMNOCK, from which it is about 4 and 7 miles distant respectively. It extends to an area of about 1669. 260 acres and is let on lease to Mr. Jas. Smith on a 19 years’ lease, expiring Whitsunday, 1920, at the rent of £116 14s. 5d., which includes 13s. 6d. Half Fire Insurance Premium. The SHOOTING, which is in hand, is of the estimated rental value of £30 a year, making a total rental value for the Lot of £146 14s. 5d. per annum.

The Shepherd’s House contains Two Rooms upstairs and Three downstairs, and Boiler House. In addition, there are the following Buildings: - Byre for 19 head, Pig House, Store House, Milk House, Hay House, Cart and Implement Shed. Note. – see stipulation No.9
