Architecture Notes

NO29NE 15.16 2562 9505

Designed by William Smith, 1850s, with some later alterations. Scots/Tudor style. Symmetrical U-plan two-storeyed outer ranges and single-storey inner range. Three-arched loggia to centre of W front, facing Castle, with houses to each side incorporating round towers. Original stalls preserved in Queen's Stable.

This site was recorded as part of the Listed Buildings Recording Programme (LBRP) for 2001-02.
