Law Cairn is a mound of stones with some earth, about 60ft in diameter and 5ft high. Some years ago, human remains were discovered in it.
Name Book 1870.
Law Cairn, a turf-covered cairn as described by the ONB (1870), is contained by a drystone wall.
It has been mutilated by excavation in the east segment, and by the depositing of domestic rubbish.
Resurveyed at 1/2500.
Visited by OS (NKB) 14 March 1967.
