Intricate pattern of long sinuous rigs, wavelength 11.4, running in improved pasture from the farm, down to the river on the NE, 5 degree slope, and covering an area of 42.5 ha.

I A G Shepherd and S M Ralston 1982.

(Location cited as NJ 8250 3850). Air photography has recorded an area of well-preserved rig-and-furrow cultivation on a moderate slope at an altitude of 70m OD. The intricate pattern of long and sinuous rigs survives under bracken and improved pasture running down to the River Ythan.
