Watching Brief (25 June 2018 - 28 June 2018)
NJ 6911 6329 A watching brief was undertaken, 25–28
June 2018, on excavations for the placement of a new
war memorial. The memorial was designed to sit on the
foundations of the wing which was bombed during WW2,
with the intention that it would be built on top of the original
foundations. The foundations were uncovered, excavated,
recorded and photographed.
