Accessing Scotland's Past Project

Glenwood Villa and Glenwood Cottage are adjacent structures in Tomintoul, which appear to have been built on what would once have been the same house plot. They follow the 'house-cum-half-house' layout, with Glenwood Villa representing the 'house' portion, and Glenwood Cottage the 'half-house'.

Both are characteristic of the Tomintoul building style, with coursed rubble facades, slate roofs and pedimented upper floor windows.
