Tomintoul, Baltimore Cottage And Adjoining Cottages

The NMRS holds a photograph taken in the 1970s showing Baltimore Cottage sitting in the midst of a row of cottages in Main Street, Tomintoul.

While the cottages lying to either side of Baltimore Cottage have the small windows and low doorways typical of this type of building, Baltimore Cottage itself shows clear evidence of reconstruction. Double windows and a pedimented doorway have replaced the original openings, breaking through the low eaves line.
